MIAMI -- Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mark Duper says he's trying to stay positive after battling cancer.Duper had surgery in Miami earlier this month to remove a cancerous tumor in his kidney. He was riding in a cycling challenge to raise money for a cancer center when he felt ill. An ultrasound later revealed a growth that was diagnosed as renal cancer."I don't want to go through it again," Duper says. "I mean, I got through it and I'm thinking positive about it. I'm going to try to do something to change some of the things that I do in my life. It's just a principle that I've got to think positive and move on."Doctors say there's a 95 percent chance Duper's cancer has been removed.Duper played 11 seasons with the Dolphins from 1982 to 1992.Copyright 2012 by WPBF.com.
