? The Washington Dairy Products Commission has appointed Sunnyside dairy farmer Dan DeGroot to its board of commissioners. DeGroot will represent producers in Yakima, Benton and Klickitat counties. DeGroot began dairy farming in Corona, Calif., in 1982 and has operated the family-owned dairy at its current location since 1990. He previously served on the Washington State Dairy Federation from 1998 to 2005 and was Yakima County Dairy Federation president from 1998 to 2000.

? Pro-Motion Physical Therapy has hired Katie Huibregtse. A Yakima native, Huibregtse has a doctorate in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University.
? Les Mills, a provider of group fitness programs, has given Anne Whiteside the Elite Instructor status in BodyFLOW, an exercise program that combines elements of yoga, tai chi and pilates. She is group fitness manager of Yakima Athletic Club and YAC Fitness. Les Mills also has given Elite Instructor status to Carrie Sattler, general manager of Yakima Athletic Club and YAC Fitness, in RPM, an indoor cycling program. Both earned the designation for showing excellence in Les Mills? five competencies.

? KAPP-TV/KVEW-TV has hired Emily Jaceks as the new anchor/producer of "Good Morning Northwest," the stations? morning show. Jaceks previously served as news director for the Capps Radio Group in Walla Walla. She is a native of Moses Lake and is a Washington State University graduate.
