Find Your New Job: Q&A: I am worried I will have to be weighed in ...

Question by K8tea: I am worried I will have to be weighed in my Nursing class...that would be horrible! Question.? Right now I am taking a nursing class to get my CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) and for alot of the things we practice on each other, the students...like oral care, wheelchairs, bed moving, etc. Next thursday we are doing vital signs, which includes learning how to take somebody's HEIGHT and WEIGHT. What if the teacher has us weigh each other for practice?! I do not want anybody knowing my weight...I don't even like knowing it myself. And I have been struggling to lose weight for years....I am heavier. Do you think they'd do that? Or would they know that people wouldn't want other people knowing their weight? Has anybody had to do this...while taking a nursing class or something? Gah. Any advice! I am really worried about it...Lame I know....but I am just super sensitive about my weight... Best answer:

I'm sure it's not a mandatory thing, so just inform the teacher that you're a little sensitive about your weight and you don't want anybody weighing you. It's kind of like invasion of privacy lol. Good Luck!!!
